I installed the GPR exhaust and love the looks and sound. I then installed the GPR PowerJet Multilevel Commander per the rather unimpressive instructions...GPR is an Italian company and they didn't invest in much translation. I hooked one obvious cable in line with the ECU and airbox. Unfortunately for me, there is a second cable with a red and a blue leads...no mention in the instructions.
Does anybody have any experience with the GPR PowerJet Multilevel Commander...and can give me a clue as to the purpose and connections for the 'mystery cable'? Thanks!!!!

Thank you for the generous offer of assistance. If you get a chance, here is the link to the GPR .pdf instructions. Near as I can tell, the instructions for my GPR model (the Multilevel Extreme) begins on page 31. The problem is that it doesn't talk specifically to the Tiger 1050...I don't think it has been updated with the recently released Tiger1050 unit...it shows generic 'hookups' for other bikes. Nice! I am also posting a picture of my actual installed unit and the cable with the blue/red leads in question. Thanks again, Steve Crawford.

Well for those interested in possibly ever enduring the GPR Exhaust/GPR Multilevel PowerJet install...an update. As I mentioned, the single sheet of instructions shipped with the PowerJet did not mention the cable with the Red and Blue leads. However, I went to the GPR Italy website, and down loaded a 63 page install guide, that covers installs of the PowerJet on all bikes, quads, and scooters...except the Tiger of course:-( In the guide, I found a color photo in the Quad install instructions showing the Red and Blue leads clearly connecting to the battery. I was initially confused because the motorcyle install section showed a color photo but with Red and Black wires connecting to the battery. But it makes sense that the unit needs power..it has LED's, which at least implies getting power to it.
So, I will try connecting to the battery and see if anything explodes. I will post an update for those interested.

Hooking the Red/Blue leads to the battery solved the problem. The unit itself is setup by removing the right side end cover, and adjusting the switches per the setup guide provided with the unit. All seems to be well.
