eletronic problems

Dear All,

I have 1050 tiger, 2008, by now with 9500 km.
In two distinct occasions I cannot turn on my bike. She just died. The first time occurred when I stopped to fuel. I had runned about 100 km away from home, turned it off. After putting some gas, no sign of life at all. After removing the seat, check every single connection, no signal. Then, I re-checked the wires and it turned on. The registers were all erased, km, partial trips and so on. By the revision at the dealer no problems at all.

Last weekend I was ready to leave home, when it just died again. I just got her alive after disconnect the battery. It seems that some kind of reset was done.

Any similar experience?

Alex

A friend of mine had a similar problem. On occasions the bike would die or refuse to turn over. diagnosis was a faulty cell in the battery so might be worth cheking this first ?
