Which aftermarket exhausts work with the centrestand?

Simple question - which aftermarket exhausts have a connector pipe that has the mounting bracket for the centrestand rubber stop?

I like the Remus and Scorpion exhausts but neither of their US sites will answer emails on this topic.

From your question, I assume you have a Tiger 1050. I believe Remus has included the feature you are wanting--they didn't originally and probably still don't on their "full race" system, but some on that other forum say the Remus they bought has the mounting provision for the center-stand stop bracket.

In early '07, there were very few--I only found one--that had the provision for the center-stand stop bracket...the Thunderbike silencer. I believe most manufacturers have included this feature in the last year. Don't be surprised if you loose HP with many of the after-market silencers. Many do not design a silencer for the Tiger1050--they just use an existing LOUD can and weld it to an inlet pipe. One person on that other forum had a dyno run before and after installing the Remus Power Cone and he lost about 5Hp if my memory is correct. Most Remus purchasers purchase the Remus for the Tiger 1050 because thay like the looks of the Remus, IMHO.

Sorry - yes it's for a Tiger 1050

I like the look of the Remus too, and like you, when I looked in 2007, barely anyone had the provision for the centrestand nubbin. I'm just after a better looking, better sounding exhaust.

I'm surprised about the drop in hp - I would have expected it to stay more or less the same. Wonder if the TOR map would help?

I've lost 34lbs in weight this year (so far) anyway so that will make up for any loss in hp from adding a slip-on

Loosing weight is the cheapest and best performance mod one can do to their bike, IMHO.

I rode my Tiger out to SLC last year...thought I would get out there again this year, but my son's business plans changed--maybe next year. I lived in Sandy for 24 years--moved away 11 years ago. You have some good riding close by.

Smile Aftermarket Pipe

Chrisell, I have a Quill Evo II On my 08 Tiger and it came with the stopper for the center stand standard. And after much e-mail with them, they trial fit every pipe they make on a mule in the shop to make sure they fit right and the mule has a center stand!! Go figure! Before you spend to much on another name brand, I highly recomend looking at there web site. I have a couple hundred miles on it now and i have not been happer with a purchase in years. The sound is awsome and the uncrease in mid range power is increadable!!!!!!!!! No joke! Third gear power wheelies!!!! And im a big dude. Check it out. you wont be sorry!! Cheers

Thanks for the tip. I spoke with the Remus dealer here in the US and he confirmed the Powercone connector pipe does have the bung for the centrestand so I've ordered one of those. We'll see how it goes.
