any one ever try towing a tiger with the rear wheel down?

There is a product I found and i am thinking of getting it for my 05 Tiger 955. The web site is http://cycle-tow.com/default.htm

I think it may be the easiest and cheapest way to transport the bike. Espically if the thing breaks down again

I'm sure it's doable. I don't know that I'd want to be putting extra wear on my drive train and rear tire like that though.

A lot of people tow front wheel drive cars like that, but if you tow a rear wheel drive they recommend you drop the drive shaft first.

I picked up a used 5x8 trailer for about the same amount then added a removable front chock and some ratchet tie downs. Works great and I could probably haul two bikes on it without a problem.

Plus I can use the trailer for all kinds of other uses.

all ready got

a old ford ranger pick up bed trailer , its just to tall for me to get the bike in and out of by my self.

Guess I am gonna have to start watching e-bay away from Amarillo 'cause there is nothing in a cheap used trailer around here
