Crash-Bars/Sliders/Mushrooms: Cheapest found State-Side??

All the pucks, mushrooms and crash-bars I've found online are sold across the pond and I really don't want to pay shipping to get something over to the states.

Could I technically use a universal slider and just get a long bolt and spacer to replace the upper, front motor mount bolt???

That seems to be where everyone mounts theirs. Cheap sets are 30 bucks over here.. and bolts and spacers run cheap as well.. considering I can just make the spacer.

Any ideas of what you've found for under 80 bucks over here???

I too am on the look out for some less expensive alternatives. The Kurgan has some RG sliders that look great and work great he says. But, 57 quid is a little much for crash bobbbins to me.

Seems there is not a whole lot of Tiger accesory available stateside unless you go to the dealer. And we all know how much more most dealer prices are...

The R & G crash bungs were £160 for the Speed Triple and 6 months later they earned their keep as it skittered down the road, wiping out the brake pedal - but nothing else. Top quality crash protection comes before all other mods IMHO

Good source for Tiger add-ons

Check out www.twistedthrottle.com, you can search for what fits your bike. They are using a Tiger 1050 as one of their demo bikes right now. I have not ordered anything from them yet, but they are the best I have found so far as selection goes.
