Can any of you owners from US/Aus/NZ or any other region tell me if your Tiger's come with a lights on/off switch ?

Just wondering whether I could get a switch from ebay or similar to turn my lights off occasionally.

Thanks

Noivson,

Thanks for the info, that's a shame the US would have been the easiest place to get the L/H switchgear from.

Hi Biffa,
Australia has tried the hardwired headlights for a few years and dropped them. This means that current bikes come fitted with the headlight off switch on the left switchblock. This changed in 2001 or 2002. I have an '01 955 and it was one of the first fitted with a switch. Just out of interest, at the time I bought my bike I had a look at a few Tigers on shop floors and they were all green and had no headlight switch. I wanted a silver one and this had a lightswitch fitted????? Apparently my bike was made for the French market and diverted to Oz, so maybe European parts suppliers will have the correct part.

TimTiger,
Thanks for the info, I think all the european models are all the same with no on/off switch. It dawned on me the other day, next time I'm in at my local dealership why not just ask the guy in the parts dept? hopefully the parts catalogues are the same for all countries and will list the various options.
