thanks for info. you might not have hiways 'cross the pond, but you do have the isle of mann . . . personally i've been riding most of my "life" (since i got my licenseand some before then) with hi-way pegs i'll pry miss them. i've been riding more cruiser styled bikes so far, so the tiger is a whole new ball game for me.

checked out the TB bars today though on the net. i can't say as i'd personally put them on. guess i'll have to put five years of an engineering degree to use and come up with something. once i get a patent i'll let the rest of the world buy them from me

do you guys like the gel seat? everything i've seen says the stock seat ain't worth a hoot, so i know i'll have to upgrade. currently got a corbin saddle on my magna, so i really like what they do, but the corbin costs twice as much . . . ouch.

the gel seat is great and a fraction of the cost of a corbin. The stock seat is not bad provided you dont plan looooonnnggg days in the saddle but the gel one for me at least and most others that have bought them has proven itsself a very worthwhile investment.

i would doubt you would need highway pegs as your legs are hardly tucked up under you and there is plenty of room to flex them a bit if you feel the need.

Having ridden some 400-500 mile days on my Tiger, I would suggest that highway pegs would be a very wecome addition to the bike.

I have the crash guards, and plan on rigging something that will work. The only challenge is that the diameter of the crash bars is not that of a standard frame member, and most pegs have too large a diameter clamp. This is obviously not a big challenge, but something you will have to work with.

As for the Corbin seat, I find that it is a relatively hard seat, and will wear you out on a long day. That gel seat sounds pretty good to me. I plan on finding one of those strap on pads for longer rides.

Ride safe...

Don't do it. I wasted my money on that "solution".
Just get the gel seat. £110.00 over here. Bloody good value AND it works. It's strange though because it feels hard to sit on but the numb bum never arrives.
