:-D When are you down there then !! I am in France, Pyrenees Spain in September !! Mate with a Trophy heading down to the Costa DE sol for a few weeks. Wifes flying down giving us some 'quality' play time hehehehehe Am looking for tips around N Spain re accommodation

I'm making the trip late June. Similar idea, wife and daughter flying down for two weeks in the sun, sandwiched between 5 days riding down and 5 days riding back - what a chore

I've booked accomodation in Llieda(Lerida) going down, and Zaragoza coming back. Check out the Pirineos and Ibis. OK, I know these are chain hotels but you can reserve rooms now and cancel if necessary right up to the same day with no charge. The Pirineos is well discounted at just £30 for this standard of accomodation. (If I'm riding 300+ miles a day for 5 days I need a good bed and shower!!) Places like this are more likely to have secure indoor parking for your bike too.
