Thumbs up 2007 tiger fuel gauge

On filling my Tiger 1050, it takes approximately 5 to 10 miles for it to register as full.Is this a problem or is it common for this bike. This is the only snafu with this bike I have. This is the best riding, grin inducining bike I have ever owned.I highly recommend the performance exhaust and remapping offered by Triumph.Gas mileage still averages 49 mpg.

When the tiger first came out the early models the gas guage was off and would zero out early the software fix now has the tank do some calculations when you fill up then it registers so that is why you have the delay so all is normal.

My 08 just got the latest tune when I put the ToR can on. This has the fuel gauge almost spot on and it only takes about 2mins riding (1-2km) before registering full.

I noticed a greater lag in fuel display with the revised software that John was talking about. I haven't timed how long it takes - maybe a few miles.

Thumbs up 2007 Tiger Fuel gauge

I have a "new" 2007 Tiger and second the "grin" factor. I Agree, takes about a minute to have the computer complete its task and give me a reading. Seems worse when hot if that plays into it. I'm interested in the exhaust comment tj made as offered by Triumph. I added a Zard and really felt the difference in performance. I have not been able to pin down my dealer service team on if they remapped or not. So cannot figure if the difference in the power curves are related to the exhaust alone or a combo.
Anyone have any feed back on exhaust mods on the Tiger? Nott much on the www yet.
