need comfy seat for a too-tall Tiger

I rode out to Barber for the races last weekend and I have to confess that my formerly comfy seat became a bit rough by the end of the day. Any suggestions for gel seats or other remedies that won't increase the seat height. I've learned to live with the current elevation, but if I'm going to keep my Tiger, I must get a more comfy cushion.

I went the custom seat route and boy is my bum ever happy about it!

Sargent's down in Jacksonville FL did the work. I told them I wanted it lower, wider, dished a bit, and to have the riser between the rider and passenger moved forward 3/4 of an inch. They did all that and a premium foam upgrade in about 10 days, shipping both ways included.

It's an awesome piece of work!

Hello Pete -

Did you have to send your original seat to Sargent?

Thanks

Yes, but at 20 below zero and four feet of snow on the ground at the time it wasn't an issue. I told them to take their time and they still got it back in 10 days. Communication was great, with regular email updates.

Sargents are the best. But I can say the Triumph low seat is very good. The fabric is better and the shape is a little different at the front. But be forewarned, it's not shorter.

The corbin seat looks great but I haven't sat on one. I believe the sargent foam is very good stuff.
