I had en excellent thrash on Sunday, belted down to Newbury in Berkshire and met up with 'Miker' (Mick my co-moderator). Hew was over here from Sydney, so it was good to hook up at last. Howard (Blacktiger) and his mate Phil dropped in for a chat too, so all in all it was a great day.

Flippin' hot though..... had to keep the speed up just to stay cool...shame!!!

Howard, did those bugs slow you down too much riding home :-p

Had a lovely blat to Durham with me missus on her ER6 for a 40th birthday bash. Great weather but as BigStripey says it was almost too hot. Insects were well culled and will take some scraping off later..

I'm with you Chris. I had a charity event on Sat and work on Sun, so no ride for me

I hope others had a great weekend!

Me and a mate went to Northwich, Cheshire from Sheffield for Sat/Sun. An event called Thundersprint took place firstly on Sat at Winningrton Park. There was a bike display of new, vintage and custom machine plus a small trade show.
Sun was a much grander affair with time trails being held for all classes of machine, vintage, modern, racing machines, a bigger trade show with reps from Aprilla, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Royal Enfield, Harley Davidson, Victory to name but a few.
It was too hot though.
Took my first ride over Cat and Fiddle....interesting

Thundersprint
I went to the Thundersprint as well. Went Saturday and camped out at the Winnington Rugby club, an area set aside for the Thundersprint which has events and ride outs all day. Then went to the Main event on Sunday.
Good event and a big turn out.

I did see Howard’s post on Tiger Rides but with my old 885i to finish getting ready to sell and my new to me black 995i to carry on fettling to my taste’s decided to stay in the garage.
My wife has taken to riding pillion this year which is a big plus and has also been quite relaxed about the two Tigers in the garage so I’m not keen to push my luck to far!
That must have been a hot and congested ride Jim.
