A couple of mates and I went up to Killin then over by way of Ben Lawer (miles of single track road) to Aberfeldy and home through Creiff, Comrie and Dunfermline then over the Forth bridge and back to the Border country, around 260 miles and even in the mountains it was hot!!

Reluctantly accepted a mates invite to have a blast around part of the North Yorks Moors.
He rides a Hooligan of a bike, a Husqavarna Moto that sounds incredibly loud, and it shifts through the twisties incredibly quick.

I tried to keep up with him, but a couple of near-misses with cagers on bends due to my crap confidence in the bike's cornering capability (oh ****, i can't lean the bike any further-must BRAKE,BRAKE,BRAKE - go upright and straight into the oncoming lane- Bright or what)

Anyway - the 50 minute blat was great, really pushed the 05 Tigs and by the end of it i really think she had earned a little respect from the Husky.

And please lets stop saying it was too hot - this is great biking weather.

Saturday : 200miles up and around Tan Hill. The usually quiet Dales roads were full of RS2000 Escorts on a club rallye.

Sunday : 200miles around Cheshire, North wales, Wirral areas sorting out a route for next weeks group ride-out.

And if I hear one more person say "it's too hot" I'll go mad !
