Accessory socket advice
Hi all,

Just wondered if you guys could help with a bit of advice...

At the end of the month I'm embarking on a 2,000 mile tour of France with a few friends. I've just bought a car cigarette lighter adaptor socket for my '05 Tiger's accessory socket. Just plugged my mobile to check it and it works fine. I'm also going to use it to charge an Archos 605 media recorder, as I'm using a helmet cam to record the trip (it's a bit like an iPod). My questions are:

1. Is it a bad idea to charge the phone / Archos while riding (damage to the unit or bike's battery etc)?

2. If I plug it in and leave it overnight (or at least for a few hours) will the Tiger's battery still be okay? Would have thought so with it being such a small device but just wanted to check

Thanks in advance

Russ

No problem charging while riding or overnight. Preference should be to do it while riding though, keeping the battery fresh for morning starts.

I can think of no problem at all with what you propose. Safe Trip.
