new exhaust silencer
Greetings to you all.
I'm on to a new silencer for my 06 and tend to the blueflame exhaust. The question is which one of the three materials (steel-carbon-titanium). Which one lasts more in your opinion?

I have Titianium, looks the dogs but scratches as you look at it, I'ts very soft.
all sound superb with the baffles out and much better than standard with them in.
Make sure when you buy it, it includes the spacer or it huggs the plastic rear mud gaurd.

It depends (IMHO) on what colour your Tiger is. I've got a Silver bike and the stainless steel suits it; my mate has a black Tiger and went for the carbon, which looks great on it, but I think would look a bit OTT on the silver one. If you have orange or other colour then take your pick!! I wouldn't worry too much though 'cos the ROAR is great out of all of them!

Yes mate, there is a small increase in power but the best thing for me was that with it and the off road tune it smoothed out the power delivery. Plus the option to go legal or not.. depending on my mood. The other best mod I did - along with the screen, was to change the fork springs to the progressive ones. Kept the oil to the stock 10w and it works well for me, being 6'3 and 100 kilos (ish..), to reduce the pogoing effect when braking. Either way you'll not be disapointed in the bike. The photo is from a Mallory Park track day - I'm no Rossi but it shocked a fair few rice rocket riders as I passed them.. Good Luck.
