What did you put there?

Looking at my '04 Tiger, it seems to me that directly behind the left side passenger footpeg would be a great place to carry something. There's a fair amount of room between the footpeg mount and the swingarm/chain guard etc.
Maybe a canister for tools, chainlube, pickled herring, wine flask?
Any ideas; pictures?

I had the same idea as you, It makes a great place for a tool kit. Here is a link:http://www.triumphrat.net/tiger-work...nier-rail.html

I finally decided on a metal cash box from a Stationary wholesaler and it's just a case of attaching it to the pannier rail. I'll post a photo when I get it done.

A welding rod case - great idea fano!
The rest of the bike looks great too. Looks like it's set up pretty well for backcountry exploring.
Thanks

Just a repeat of my other post.

I finally got round to putting a box on my pannier rail. It's not ideal as I have to unbolt it every time I need to put the panniers on, but will do for now.

It's great for carrying tools, puncture repair kit, tyre levers, chain lube, etc.

TT,

Thanks.

They are Touratech. I pondered for ages trying to decide which ones to go for, and when you actually see Touratech's on a Tiger you realise they look the best (IMHO) with their flowing lines and robustness.
