Hi:

Does anyone have a good source for information or instuctions on fixing the sprag clutch on a '96 Tiger? My winter project would be much easier if I did not have to reinvent the wheel!

Thanks in advance...

Dave,

Sorry to hear you have the dreaded D.A.R!, one of the best places to get info from guys that have done it themselves, is the FAQ pages of the Tiger forum on yahoo.

You will need to register, but there is a mine of information on this dreadful affliction! It is a big job to fix, but quite manageable if you have got the time and the tools?

www.TriumphTiger@yahoogroups.com (if you can stand pop-up hell!)

Good luck, keep us posted how you get on. I'm sure the forum would benefit from your experiences if you get to do the job?

Jim

Jim:

I tried that site and got stranded. There is another Yahoo Tiger user group, but they do not seem to have anything on the sprag clutch / starter issue. Can you double check on the address?

Thanks!
Dave
