Forks

I recently purchased my first 04 Tiger cast wheel model. I'm concerned that I have a problem with the forks. Innormal riding everthing feels ok but hit a pot hole small bump in the the road and a strange rebound type of noise comes from the front end. I have checked my steering bearings and even had my local triumph dealer look at it. They say its normal for this model. Can anyone pleaseoffer any advice.

If you mean a slight knocking noise from the forks then that is normal, as the mechanics say....................."they all do that".

Yeah, my mechanic told me that one as well - they all do it.

So where as other manufactuers design out a clunk, Triumph design one in, and we're told it's ok......

MY ARSE !

Have you never heard that if enouigh people tell you something you'll eventually believe them???

BALL-BULL , If it really bothers you the best thing to do is upgrade to a set of progressive Hagon springs and 15 w oil. Transforms the handling with less dive and gets rid of the clunking

HAPPY DIVING !!!

Yeah. It's not an '04. Cast wheels were first fitted on the '05s. If it was an 04 it wouldn't have the clunk because they fiddled with the forks for the '05.
