This is what the Tiger should have looked like.

I was at WestGate Rd Newcastle.
Bikers heaven, a road full of Bike shops.
When I saw, what I think is the nicest Bike since the Tiger 955/and earlier.
I will replace my Tiger with this when mine runs out in about thirty years
The new Motor Guzzi Stelvio 1200

I have a growth looking at it
Sheer porn
Ugly from the front though.

Thumbs down Stelvio

Might be a capable bike, but it looks like it's a chop between the GS rearend and something aging, sagging and ugly at the front (think 80's Suzuki Katana...).
IMHO this is a disgrace to the bike heaven it's named after.....

I don't want to upset the 1050 owners but I think this looks nice.
A car hasn't rammed the back of it, and it looks comfy
The new Triumph is too squat- superbike territory.
This looks like it can put some serious miles in.
And the high rounded tank must be pinched from Triumph.

think gs with turned up cylinders
me thinks it's a me too bike. something to keep the guzzi gang going
in tests it seems a capable bike with some small things irritating (as often is the case ) like nothing below 4000 revs, a dip after that and some juice flowing after that.

It's Italian, think British winters, think electrics, think corrosion, etc!

Also comes in an 'offroad' version...

This was one bike I was seriously considering as an alternative to the Tiger but I got tired of waiting for it to be launched in the UK. It was promised in February and it's still not available here yet.

Whilst it undoubted has rugged good looks and will sound nice(in a JCB sort of way), I doubt whether the engine will be a match for the Triumph triple.

Having ridden a Tre-K a couple of times (as part of my job) may I just say that I really, really don't.. In the flesh it looks like a mish-mash of bits just bolted on (IMHO) and the engine sounds like a bag of spanners (or wrenches to our colonial cousins..) being shaken, which would all be ok if it went well - it doesn't. It has no redeeming attributes that I could fathom out. I will be avoiding them at all costs and recommend (for what's it's worth) that you do the same.
