Was out in the garage tinkering on both bikes till about midnight. When I left the garage it was heavy rain.

Two hours later and there is at least a couple of inches of snow with penny sized flakes still falling.

I just cleared the last lot of snow and ice from the drive today, ach weel, bang goes any chance of getting the bike out tomorrow/ today.

Wow - I threw in the towel somewhere around the first week of February. Long live 4WD.

Who mentioned spring? Not me. It's snowing in Atlanta, a little over an hour's ride north of here.

March is always a cruel month...it loves to torment us with hints of spring. But since the dimmest recesses of the human era, our more astronomically aware ancestors understood the equinox doesn't happen til the end of the month, and spring itself is not always swift to appear thereafter. When it does, it often decides we need flooding rains here for a week or more at a time.

Diego is sitting outside the door right now, urging me to pull on my winter suit. Were it not for the increasing wind as the clouds part, I would gladly oblige.

Just got back from the best downhill conditions I have skied this winter?....Spring?

Van is totally covered in Salt, Sand, Ice, Snow.........

It will be really sweet to get the bike out again. Does anyone know if there is a ski rack for the tiger?

Thanks for sending the snow up the coast. We got 7 inches last night. Tonight the sky is clear, its about 25 f and the wind is gusting to 40mph.

Why do I have a hard time taking it seriously when somebody from Georgia whines about the short riding season?
