My bike insurance (£125 or so with Carole Nash) includes full UK & EU breakdown, so that's the cheapest way for me. For the car I use
these people which is £59 a year UK & EU for a single vehicle, which seems pretty cheap to me. Never needed to use them but they're underwritten by Europ Assistance which is one of the big companies.
As far as personal insurance is concerned, MrGromit is right - I use
direct travel who only restrict motorcycling cover if you don't have an appropriate licence.
<edit> Just read the 15 year bit - quoteline direct cover up to 15 years so you may be out of luck. When I had a "classic" car I got quite a good deal from classic car insurers. In fact, Carole Nash would probably consider your bike as a classic anyway. </edit>
