Good luck to these 2 Guys.

"Why fly the flag when you can ride it" [Spike Milligan]

Triumph don,t appear to be helping, Nor do any of their dealerships which is a shame.

I will certainly be up for a tenner to each of the 2 Hospice charities.

How about a TRIUMPH.RAT combined donation from willing individual forum members? we could donate on a pre-arranged day perhaps a couple of days before they set off?.. Just a thought....

Poor Circulation-Around the world on 2 Tigers

Hi guys,
thanks for the interest in our trip. Of course we'll make it! The bikes are already proving to be far more reliable than us....
It's a shame Triumph & their dealers aren't interested, especially as we intend to write a book and a DVD. Maybe because we are riding obsolete bikes? We've even had interest from a well known TV production company (fingers crossed)
Everyone who has helped us are credited on our blogs, especially www.triumph-online.co.uk
At the very least should things go wrong (surely not!) we can say we did a good thing raising money for two Hospices. We set a target of £5000 as this is how much they need to raise PER DAY to treat patients with life limiting illnesses. PLEASE donate a few quid to relieve our guilt of having fun on Tigers everyday
Anyone wishing to send us on our way are welcome to meet us at the Ace Cafe Monday 21st April at 7pm
Comments or questions can be left on our blogs
Live the dream
Alan

It's a brilliant read. Hopefully they'll get some good comedic coverage from ITV as well, if Alan Kelly's humour is picked up on. http://www.poorcirculation2.blogspot.com/

Happy trails gents.

Mick

I doubt Triumph will want to get involved, because they're using the "wrong" (i.e. out of production) bikes.

The long way round... Part 2. On Tiger 955i's Update..

Has anyone been following the progress of the intrepid Tiger travellers?

It sure looks like they have reached the end of their tethers before the end of the journey...

Sure does look like there are problems, Geoff is continuing to post, but Alan seems to have written nothing since late June? They have parted ways though, but hopefully will either re-join or complete their seperate journeys.

40 Miles of Bad Highway

I belive that Geoff is committed to his journey. Alan may be tired. 10,000 miles is a long way. And it's not like the same amount of miles on good roads.
I wish both riders a safe Odyssey.
