New addition to the family

My 95 TB has a new baby sister - a white 07 Tiger 1050 ABS delivered last night to her eager parent. Ok, I won't extend the metaphor anymore than that. I rode her home last night from Eurosport in Fort Worth - she feels great but the running-in period is a PITA. I taking her to the NTNOA club meet today so I hope to put a few more miles on her.

I've ordered a shed-load of extras - full luggage with liners, tankbag, TOR, heated grips, centrestand, manual, aux power socket, GPS connector and I hope they will be available by the 500 mile service. I decided to see if I like the stock saddle first before looking at gel.

I'm thinking about getting that Skidmarkx hugger since it deals with chain fling better (or so I've heard) but I have yet to see a good picture of it fitted.

I've been on this site for a few years but mostly in the Hinckley forum - so just thought I would say hello.

Chris, Congratulations you got your Tiger. Hope you enjoy it and it's everything you hoped it would be.

Congrats on the new ride. Hope Triumph is paying for some of those extras with the current promo.

Jerry - it's been a while! We need to hook up at a RAT Raid again.

Max - cheers mate! My Uncle Eddie & Edna live in Ainsdale and a long time ago - I lived in Kirkham and went to school in Blackpool. Your local roads are so much better than mine (well - apart from the bloody A59!) but at least it hardly ever rains here.

Chris, as soon as we get one that's handy for both of us. We'll get together at a Rat Raid and toss back a couple of pints.

Chris,
Welcome and congrats on the new Tiger! Let me know how you like the TOR. That's the one extra I've been wondering if I should have purchased. I got all you have except the heated grips. Oh, and I added the SW-Motech crash bars as I'm apt to step in a hole and topple over.

And I know what you mean about the break in period. But I have a feeling it won't last long! You'll have the miles on her before you know it.

Ride safe and enjoy!
