Hi folks,

Just wanted to say how pleased i am to see so many new members joining the forum

It is particularly good to see the popularity of the Tiger growing and growing stateside (ok...who let the secret out of the bag over there ???)

It is also great to see members trading up, but staying with the Tiger, surely testament to the qualities of this bike ?

There will be many opportunities during 2005, to meet up with other Tiger riders on ride-outs and other functions. I know that the UK Tigers group has a pretty full agenda for 2005 already

If you get the chance, try and get to at least one of these meets, you will be surprised how much info is to be had just gabbing over a coffee or a beer.

Many of you i know are planning longer journeys, tours and expeditions (mine is next year!!!!) It always interesting to hear about your experiences and expolits along the way, so if you get the chance, please put finger to keyboard and tell us all about it Photo's are always good too ?

If you have any ideas for the forum, i would be pleased to hear from you, i will do my best to accomodate them if they are feasible

Thanks for your continued support.....keep it up folks

cheers :-g

When I started shopping for my next bike (was going to be a Harley) some friends suggested I check out the Triumph Thruxton. I remember talking to the salesman about the Truxton and a used RS they had. When I saw the gangly lime green Tiger in their used section I asked the sales guy what the heck it was??? He explained it but I didn't give it a second thought.

Then I met you guys while looking for info on the Thruxton. Soon after I made the deal on the Roulette Green Tiger. I still think most American cyclists don't get it, which I rather like.

Whoa,

Did you buy that from the dealer in Austin? I was in there last fall for some tires on my way to Mexico. They're a really good dealership. Took care of me while I waited.

I have a friend who has been telling me to get a Tiger for years now. I have finally purchased an 05 (silver) and await delivery some time next week. This forum has helped me make my mind up in getting the Tiger, with all the help and ideas that I've seen on here I feel I have made the right purchase. I'm taking a 2 week bike trip this June and the tiger should be a good choice, can't wait.

That's the place man, Lone Star. I asked a lot of people about that shop since they are the only Triumph dealership in town. Everyone gave them thumbs up. If that had not been the case I would not have bought a Triumph. They are good folks.
