First of all, this isnt a pop at the tiger,(phew I almost felt the flame there). No its a comment about the way Triumph exhibited the triumph at the London Show.
The whole stand was great as usual, but the color scheme of bike and stand was blue.//. darker colours. I looked at the whole and felt, Sprint, yes looks great and fits in. Speed tripple thingy, B£2ody Awesome in its tribal paintwork. Even the rocket looked like a diamond on a dark baize cloth. BUT. dear old tiger looked totally out of place. There it was in dayglow orange, or whatever its called. It was embarassing to look at it. No one went near it and all looked at it like it was a drunk at a christening.
Cmon triumph, you do a great job most of the times, but do pick colours that work against the background and other bikes. a bit more thought and a darker colour would have worked wonders.
OK. time for the medicine... but I still think the orange tiger looked sceptic.
