So how much time have you clocked on the 05? What are the big differences?

Congrats on the new purchase. Here's to safe/fun miles ahead.

Don't pick up the 05 model until next Sat, 100 mile ride to dealer on the 99 model, then 100 mile back on 05 model, so maybe next week I'll be able to answer that question.
I'd be interested in anyone elses opinions on the new 05 though.

Hi, I am in East Lancashire also, and, looking to get a new (to me) Tiger. Late last year I fancied the idea of an Aprilia Caponord but the dealer (Rockets) was totally uninterested in taking my Tiger in part ex.

I've a yellow 2000 (W reg) 885i. If you don't mind me asking which dealer did you go to ? Did you get a reasonable deal for your part ex?

'm not too keen on a brand new one because I don't want to take the initial depreciation hit.
