Hi All,

This is my second post, just joined this forum.

I have a 2014 Tiger 800 xc.

Just after purchasing it with 1200 miles on it the shift linkage went on it. Its been in the shop all summer getting torn apart and fixed. Finally got it back yesterday and after few small additional issues went out on my first real ride on it.
The power band, specifically the low end power of the bike is totally dogging out when trying to accelerate. It was supper snappy and fun before they did the work on the bike. I know that they re mapped it on the computer and told me this was the latest map of the bike. Seems to me like it runs way worse than it did before....

Any thoughts or similar issues?
Really happy to FINALLY have the bike back but totally miffed at how its running..

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Ian

I don't think so. Ive been on bike with that issue and this feels different. The whole clutch and all shifting components were all newly replaced. It just feels like the power band on the bike has changed. Fine on the high end but really unresponsive, sluggish on the low. I saw some other brief posts about re mapping with the a new program and the bike running poorly, thats why I am feeling like that could be the issue. Looking for more information in that dept.
Thanks for your thoughts!
