Welcome Hospice, there is another way.....

Eat more

Some of the guys with 32" inseams are probable heavier than you, so perhaps that's why they get their feet down when they stop.

See, there is a bad side to being trim .......

I'm only 6', weigh about 187 lbs, and have no problems at all. I don't really know my inseam measurement. I've never let anyone measure it

Actually, I'm already on the heavy side (235#), and am trying to lose weight!

I'll have to wait for the dealer to open tomorrow to discuss lowering the seat, the shocks, the suspension and possibly lowering the front another inch (I know some may frown on this, but this bike only sees off-road if I drive through the yard).

Norton Charlie in Iowa was advertizing on some of the other tiger list a Used Corbin seat that was made to sit lower than stock. It came on a used Tiger he purchased and does not fit him. Seems to me he had it pretty resonably priced. Might want to look him up.

Taking the Tiger to the shop this Saturday to see what can be done suspension wise. They're reluctant to lower the front any more. The seat option is being looked; do you have Norton Charlie's e-mail addy?

Hi, HospiceRN

I'd be particularly interested in any info you get, being a bit of a short-arse and definitely in need of some lowering of my bike.

Lower IT!

HospiceRN

One problem with just lowering the front is it can make the bike a bit twitchy, you are effectively reducing the camber.

I'm 6'1" and just bought a '06 Tiger that the previous owner had lowered 2". I raised it back to stock height with a stock shock and new sidestand fitted. What I took off was a custom made Hagon 2" lowering shock with remote hydraulic preload ($595 as delivered from Hagon), and the shortened side stand to match. WIth this installed, the front would need to be slipped in the yokes to about 15mm, which puts it back near reasonable camber. Send me a PM, I'll cut you a deal.

N4- Sorry, was unable to get the Tiger to the shop as I had to ride the Bonnie up there to put her on the market (the dilemmas we encounter when we're motorcycle poor). I'll try again next week.

Digger- Sounds good, but I'll have to see what the finances are looking like. Between Christmas and the IRS audit I'm under going, it may be a tough season for me.

Hi, HospiceRN

did you ever get to the shop and, if so, what did they tell you?
