As a nimble and sprightly 15 stoner, I adjusted the rebound soon after I bought the bike in Jan, and the ride was much better. Recently I took my 11 stone teenage son pillion, and the poor old Tiger sank to her knees! Do i have to fiddle about with a spanner or torx key every time I take the lad out, or will a kind of "compromise setting" be OK for riding single and two-up? There must be aload of experience out there from big fellas with Tigers! :???:

The most important setting for extra weight, is rear spring preload and not the rebound damping.

I noticed that on the tiger, once I'd set the preload for myself. The bike was fairly tolerant of a pillion or luggage, (compared with other bikes I've owned).
