I just brought home my new tiger and I love it. BUT,
I found this hunk of plastic under the front of the gas tank-behind the handle bars-just above the frame. it fits very loosely with only one bolt, i have tried tightening it and it still moves around.
what is this thing? is it necessary? and is it supposed to be loose?

just curious.

it's a little loose on my as well...probably aesthetics...unless it's meant to keep water/dust "directly" off something...
