*****, I never made the connection until I read your last post. I hit a deer a couple of weeks ago (with the whistling box onboard). It was running parallel to the bike and just glanced off my left leg and my TB bars. No crash, nobody hurt, one confused deer standing in themiddle of the road as I drove away looking in the mirror.

Now I understand what was going on!

Paulie has gone one step further and created this cup type carrier that has some of the design features of my aluminium carrier and has combined them with the practical needs of the beer create strapped to the back for the trip down the shops.
As it is getting to winter in Alaska now, we need to wait for a full report in the spring.

I think it is great that people come up with these ideas.

Of cause for use in the UK the carrier would need water drain holes in the base to let the rain out
