So here I was yesterday all pleased as punch Juust having Tigger serviced, MOT'd & fitted with a nice new set of Pilot Roads from Mitchellin. came out of work last night to find rear Tyre almost flat. Grim thoughts about tyre fitters flitted through my mind but on inspection I discover I have a small Allen key (circa 1.5mm) stuck firmly in the centre of my nice pristine tred. 84 miles I had done since getting it fitted would you credit it 84 miserable miles?

So what is the shortest milage any of you guys have managed to achieve on a hoop?

Not nice that.
I had a 4" long screw go into the tread and out of the side wall after 100 miles once.

Fifty-four miles on a brand new set of tires, nail in rear, no repair kit since I was just out to burn them in and not heading anywhere specific. Lesson learned. Always carry your tools and pump.

On a track Day in Lebonon Just north of Nice a couple of years ago the Daytonna went through a brand new set of Corsa's in 2 days.

Expensive but great value for fun factor. !!!!! :-D

I've never had a flat on a motorcycle. I picked up a razor blade in a VW dealer lot when bringing the car back for a delivery issue (missing sway bar link bushings). When the guy went to bring it in to the bay to make the repair he came in and asked me how long the tire had been flat. I had to fight to get them to cover even half of the tire cost! I had to explain to them that there was no way that I could have driven the 15 miles in to them on a flat...
