To owners of 2005 Tigers. Just curious. Does the bike still have the Union flag on the rear light housing?

There aint any on my Tiger, i thought there was something missing so i was planning to put an oval Triumph badge there, like the one on the dash.

Actually DJR is right Triumph dropped it this year as not all countries wanted the Union Jack and it was felt that it may effect exports, shame really.

that may well be the case but I dont need a flag to tell me that. i dont see japanese bikes with japanese flags stuck all over them, or my italian car etc.

I bought the bike because it was a Tiger first and foremost, because it was a Triumph secondly and where it was made is totally irrelevant to me.

If something is needed to break up the vast areas of paint or just to improve the look then put a Tiger or Triumph badge on it.

I think it looks cool - I even bought a Belstaf Jacket cuz it has Union Jacks on the sleeves

(can I get a couple of bars of God Save the Queen please?)
