I spoke to a sales rep. at CeeBailey, thinking I would order the 8.5" taller #2 screen. He asked how tall I am (I told him 6'1") He discouraged me from going 8.5" tall because, he said, the "flip" on the top would hamper my vision - - apparently it causes distortion.

Is this a real thing, or is it just some corporate liability lawyer talking? Anyone 6' tall out there who can comment on the vis. through (or over) the 8.5" screen?

Thanks, all.

Paulie,

I have the 8.5" #2 screen and I'm 6'4".

I have plenty of room to see over the screen, but keep in mind I also have the corbin leather saddle, which sits a little higher than the stock seat.

I don't think you would have a problem being 6'1" and using a stock seat. When i hunker down, I don't feel there is enough distortion at the screen's upper edge to worry about.

Thanks for the input. How do you like the screen?

I have a soft spot in my heart for Denver (and Erico Motorsports). Bought my Legend on EBay and had some work done at Erico (a great dealer, IMHO). Then had a great drive to Seattle via Rocky Mt. Park, Flaming Gorge, Jackson, Ennis, Missoula, the Clark Fork, Sandpoint, N. Cascade Hwy. etc. You've got some great riding country down there, my friend.
