Hey all!

I finally received the recall notice for the fragile fuel connectors yesterday. Letter in the mail.

I called the dealer here in Denver (Foothills Triumph), and next Weds the bike gets revamped. The new male quick disconnects are made out of aluminum.

So keep your eyes open for the recall notices!!!

I actually broke a plastic fuel connector when removing the tank. I had no recall letter so I just bought a pair of the new alloy conectors for AUD$22 (about US$15) for both and fitted them myself. They come with easy to use stainless hose clips and at least Triumph have priced them reasonably.
Note that there are 2 different part numbers as the inlet and outlet fuel lines have different internal diameters.
