I recently picked up a new Tiger, which I love by the way!
But having had three previous Daytonas, I know these motors pretty well and have been thinking about hopping up the motor.
The Tiger is strange in that it uses the new bottom end of the sporting triples but still uses the T509/595 series heads. Not having seen the factory manuel yet but I am assuming the Tiger is using the same mild cams as before.
But my thought was to fit a set of Speedtriple cams (from the 955i model) and a related FI tune for the S3. I figure it should bump the RWHP from 82-85 to over 102-105, assuming it uses the same throttle bodies at the old S3.
Anyone play with their Tiger yet?

I think you'll find that if you fit the speed triple cams you will also need the speed triple ignitor box. If you do this mod I would be interested in the results.

I agree with Badger on two points, The ECU probably would need to be matched to the cam. I also agree that I would be very interested in the results.

Please please please Dyno the bike before and after and send us a ride report.
I am dreaming of smoking michelins and 3rd gear wheelies!!!!!
