Picked up my new Tiger today and with temperature around 25 degrees only put 5 miles on it. My question is being 6'4" I may have a problem with the pegs being too far underneath me. Does anyone know if ther are aftermarket pegs that can be 3" to 6" forward. I am used to bikes (non-crotch rocket types) with more forward pegs. For now I will need to adjust the shift lever and bring it up as it is set way to low. This should help and I am sure once I get used to it (with warmer weather) it may be just fine. Besides that I think I will really love this bike. My son went with me to pick it up and said no way his mother and I could ride 2-up. But after getting the bike home we both sat on it and amazed not only my wife but also my son. He has a HD and thinks he knows it all but I fooled him on this one! Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated. Ride on Tigers!

Hi and welcome to the fun forum and congrats on yer new mount. if its an 06 model the seat has 3 height setting, just take the seats off and alter it. if its an 07 model i have no idea !! :???:

if you still need more i think Buell pegs fit, they are cranked down more and should give more room but this is for the 06.

so is it 06 or 07 ??

I just ordered an 07 . since its new it will take a little while for after market parts to get out. I think your problen will resolve itself once you ride it more. I doubt that a new rearset will come out thwat moves the foot peg forward like you want. Most of them move more back and up. the first time I rode a Ducati it felt really bad . I say Ducati because there riding position is nmore aggressive But I got used to it . You will find that the tiger is fine

I agree, you just are not familiar with this riding position. Give it time and you will acclimate and find it to be quite comfortable over time.

If its an 07 then Triumph do 2 alternative height seats. The highest one may suit you better, or even the gel seat. I agree its an expensive option but the dealer may have one you could try before you buy.
I went for a test ride on an 07 and the biggest problem I found with the std position is that the wind blows straight down my boots. Some thing that doesnt happen on the 955i.
Hope you enjoy it...
