does anyone know whether an authorized triumph dealer should be able to check the fuel injection pressure for the injectors on a bike that has been broken down and had the carbon and unburnt fuel cleaned out after 5000 miles. I am feeling like something is amiss here and while the dealer is clean the motor at my expense and has told me the mapping will be checked make sure the electronics are right,

I want to be able to make sure the injectors are pushing fuel at the correct pressure so this problem will not show up in another 5000 miles.

thanks for input folks.

Carl

Fuel injection are still pretty new on bikes. Just take a look at how many upgrades Triumph made on the Tiger. Maybe the technique still is new for them.

If you donīt trust your mechanic at Triumph I would go to a specialist on car electrics and fuel injection. In my home town I would go to a Bosch dealer. They can clean injectors with ultra sound and test them. They should also be able to measure the fuel pressure.
