In light of Triumph's move away from off-road capability with the new Tiger, do you think it's likely or recommended that they produce a smaller off-road-capable machine based around the 675 mill? :???:

I don't think so, I don't believe they will think there is enough of a market. But, I know a lot of people that would love to see a middle weight Tiger.

This question has been posed before and, yes, there are a lot of people that would have a lighter off road capable bike that wasn't a bluudy BMW. I've been told by Triumph staff that they don't have the capacity on the assembly lines for too many models.
As for the size of the market. The F650GS, 650V-Strom etc. all sell very well don't they? BMW do very well in that market with their 1200 and 650 GSes. We'll see what happens if BMW make an F800GS. Maybe they'll monopolise the market completely. Be a pity if BMW don't have any competitors apart from KTM.
