I'm baffled with my Fuel Guage and Low Fuel light on my 04 Tiger. The connections are all made and dry, but I still have the Fuel Guage registering empty all the time, and the low fuel light comes on and off. I would just take the bike to the dealer on warranty, but they are 300 miles away. Has anyone got any ideas, i appreciate the past input ref: moisture in the connections, but I have eliminated that possibility.

Also, while disconnecting, dielectric greasing and re-connecting connections, I got an error message registered and my engine light is on. I'd sure like to figure out how to get that light off too! :???:

Thanks for the reply DJR. I did find that the Engine light went out about the fifth time I turned on the ignition without the computer finding the fault again, so that's good. I guess i'll have to break down and take her in to the shop, it kills two days for me, being in a rather remote location!

I kill a day going to my shop and back. I take the positive outlook that I get to ride all day (with time out for service).

Lets us know what the results are.

I'm affraid djr is right. It's a faulty sender. Mine did the same on my 02. It seems that whoever makes them for Triumph gets it wrong from time to time. The bit that is supposed to float has a jagged edge and gets jammed.
