Anyone have any opinions? Stock will not due with my rear end. I hate to spend money on something I may or may not like.

Can't directly compare them for you...at the price, it was one or the other. I went with the Triumph gel seats and have been very pleased with them all summer.

I have not used a Corbin but do use the gel seat. I find the gel seat works very well and is relatively cheap.

Good point, David. Triumph's price for the gel seat was such a pleasant surprise that I went ahead and ordered the touring screen at the same time. Of those two purchases, the seats have turned out to be the overall more useful items.

Does it bother anyone else that Triumph makes an aftermarket gel seat? It occurs to me that they will never make a comfortable seat as long as people arebuying the triumph aftermarket seats to replace the poor stock seat. Why don't they just make the Gel seat stock and put Corbin out of buisness? (at least for triumph bikes)

because not everyone needs the gel one. For as many I know that use the gel seat as many have said the stock one was fine for them. If its aftermarket Triumph make money, if its standard they dont. If you buy another manufacturer they have still got your money from buying the bike.

As far as the stock seat goes, my biggest complaint is that the pillion slides forward all the time. Is the gel seat any better in this regard?
