OK

The older bikes are steamers.

The newer bikes (mine included) are called Girlies.

So what are we going to call the 1050.

Any suggestions !!!!

Why Steamers and why Girlies? If we knew how you all came up with those names might help us find a new one... Anybody know the reasoning behind these other names? Steamers and Girlies... Maybe combine the two? Hot Chick? :-D

How about calling it the "Milly"
For 2 reasons
1. The roman numerals for 1050 is ML
2. Thoroughly modern?

Milly as a nicknmae has been used before- both MG and Aprilla have a Mille. How about something describing its new contour like... Wedgie? Or its new incarnation like...Roadie?

It may just name itself after being ridden. I'd get one but I feel lucky just to have caught up to the 21st Century although sometimes I wonder if Triumph put much effort into the Tigers after 03 when they started developing the new model. Still, it's a blast to ride.

Since Triumph has abandoned all pretense of off road capabilities how about the

Roadie

Then we would have the

Steamers

Girlies

Roadies
