Someone please educate this Yank. Being from the woods, I recognize "tree huggers" but I don't know motorcycle hugger. Is that like the rear fender? :???:

We also have tree huggers, but getting one to wrap themselves round the back wheel to keep the dirt off the shock can be tricky. The other hugger is a close fitting extra rear fender that (usually) incorporates a chain guard and stops any crud being flung onto the shock and front of the swingarm.

Thanks for enlightening me Skidpan. My imagination was running a muck with a vision of a well endowed blond hanging on for dear life.

Cheers,

Other Motorcycle: would like KTM950SM
Extra Motorcycle: would like Hayabusa1340
I fitted the NWS hugger, and for those who ride during the winter on salty roads it is the best aftermarket add-on possible - I see the new 1050 comes with one standard.

Apparently it is no good for heavy mud trails - but neither is the bike. On gravel - forest trails the hugger did not jam up.

hugger - fender - who cares if it works.

Black NWS Hugger for 98 to 04 available. Slight damage but works well and looks good. Any reasonable offer + postage accepted
