Currently own a 06 Bonnie but have been looking hard at a Tiger.

Wanting a bike for long distance 2 up riding that don't have to worry about stopping for fuel so often.

The 06 Tiger seems to have a better seating arrangement for 2 up. The 07 looks like it would place the second rider up high in the wind stream? Thoughts???

Well if it's any use... I'm 6'1" and my 21 year old nephew is 6'5" (yes really)... and he was perfectly comfortable on a recent 100 mile trip - He did have the topbox to lean back on though which he liked... On the new one I guess the windblast would be much worse!

My son and I went from PA to GA for a Tiger ride-In this summer; my son is 5'8" and 150 lbs and had no trouble. We had driving rain all night going down with 5 total stops and covered a little over 800 miles in 12 hours. I have an 05 and it is the best two touring bike for the money. We even cut a few courners at the Dragon (Deals Gap, NC) again two up. I've been blasted because of my thoughts on the new Tiger being less of a tourer as well as less of an all rounder (based on what I've seen) but in the real world world hauling two large people, tent and other stuff is very do-able on 06 and older Fuelies.

I'd agree that the 07 appears to be more of a 1 man bike. I know lots of folks who've done lots of miles 2 up on 06 and older Tigers.

The only way to know about two-up on the '07 Tiger is to put two butts on the seat. Anything else is speculation. I'll wait until I can put my kid on the back and ride a while before judging from a photo.

99% of my rideing on the Tiger is done two up,and if i thought there was something better out there for long distance trips,i'd have sold it years ago and bought what ever, with a 1000 miler in 16 hours which included a h1.30 ferry trip, and with no end of 750/800 mile days,i'm still not looking for anything else.

Re the 1050,my wife gets on a bike like i do,non this Standing on one peg while i struggle to balance the bike lark!!!,the peg is high and the seat is even higher!!,so who ever is getting on will need a fair amount of leverage,my wife is 5ft 8" and 9 stone(126lbs) and just found it impossible.
It's identical to the ST Sprint which i tested earlier on in the year, one up i though was fantastic, two up an utter disaster, sat way to high with nowhere to hide at high speed.

It'll be a great bike,if you single,divorced,married to a midget or phedo!!!!

Didn't quite get that. You've actually been two-up on the '07 then or is that based on published dimensions?
