I seem to remember reading a thread a while back (can't find it now) about the lack of a Haynes manual for the 955 Tigers.
Well, this might be old news to you all, but I have just seen on the Haynes website, a manual for fuel injected triples, including the 885cc 1999-2000, and the 955cc 2001-2005 Tiger. Supposedly in stock.

I've had one on order via Amazon for about 2 months - delivery due 22nd Aug - 11th September, priced £21-98.

Might see it one day

I use one that I got on eBay. There are always a few available, quite often new ones. They usually go for about $20.

Is the Haynes comparable to the Triumph shop manual, or
should I get both?

The proper Triumph one is much better IMO but it is a tad expensive.

In addition to my Haynes manual, I bought a CD of the Triumph parts microfiche. That gives me good exploded views of assemblies along with parts numbers to order stuff. I got it from a guy in the UK who goes by "ficheman" on eBay. The CD was less than $20. It's funny when I go to my local dealer and watch the parts guy use his fiche and the ancient fiche reader. I look at my CD, zoom in on assemblies, and the quality of the images never degrades or gets scratched! The CD has all the accessories that Triumph makes along with all the Tiger parts.

New Haynes covering Tigers up to present day, landed on the doorstep this morning, having ordered it from Haynes directly.
I can now look forward to many happy nights tinkering, secure in the knowledge that I have a picture of how to put it back together.....
