Following the thread from TucsonBill I thought I'd give the mirror extenders from Jack Lilley a try.I have found the noise and turbulence to be the worst feature of an otherwise very capable bike.Ordered by phone on Tuesday and they arrived next day.Now that's what I call service. £20 plus postage is quite a lot for what you get but anyway I fitted them tonight and took a ride down the motorway.I was amazed at the improvement.Even with the standard screen the turbulence is virtually eliminated.I was cruising along at about 85mph no problem at all, compared to being battered by the wind previously. Also rear visibility is much improved. This is the answer and I would say it's the best investment on a bike I've ever made (well maybe with the exception of a Wolf underseat exhaust for my (previous) Speed Triple but that was just for the sonic experience). I am expecting even better results with the CeeBailey taller screen,as this was a bit better for touring than the standard.Looking forward to touring in comfort and no more concussion !

Try taking the screan off. I did it the other day just because it was so hot. It's just much nicer to ride no, the vents on my helmet and jacket now work. I am 6 4 and the wind now hits me about arm pit level. It's not that great on the Motorway but normal roads it,s great.

I've considered taking the screen off,but am now very happy with the standard screen and mirror extensions.Did a 300 mile trip into Wales today at various speeds and the bike was a joy to ride. For me it's problem solved.I'll try the Ceebailey in the autumn as it will give better weather protection.

They also have the advantage that you can see behind you.

Going to try this as well. Does anyone else sell mirror extenders? I might try to fashion my own.

Made the mistake of clicking on the badger badger badger web link from nobby400 and now can't get that song out of my head :knkknk:

I made a pair from some stainless bar and a couple of 10mm x 1.25 pitch bolts. It did help having a lathe to bore down the centre though......

I tried this and I thought it made things worse. I took them off.

I made some extenders with 2 5/16" coupling bolts that are 2" wide, drilled them out 11/32" and tapped them with M10x1.25 bit, then fitted some bolts in one end. Cut the tops off and was all set.

They have worked perfect, and now I can see. Total cost under $5.00 and about 1/2 hour.

Oh Yeah painted, them black to match.

May make a second set out of round stock so they would be pretty, maybe not also would rather ride!!
