Or, Thunderbike 1, Gravel Parking Lot 0. It had to happen - - - tipped over going up a steep little gravel incline into a slanted gravel parking pad. Rear wheel took a big slide. The bike was almost stopped, came down on the TB bars exactly as advertised. Only damage is a little barely visible scuffing in the paint on the bars. Nothing else touched. Shout out for TB!

A question - - the bike was down on its left side for about 3-4 minutes (at most). Once upright, it started right up. Can anyone think of any preventive maintenance that I should be thinking about? I've heard different theories on bad stuff that can happen when a bike gets over on its side.

Thanks,

Paul (minus cherry)

check the oil level and check the air box for oil and also the drain tubes.

My Tt600 wnt over and fortunately I got her stopped before she had the possibility to get a hydraulic lock up. I did manage to get oil in the air box which had to be cleaned out and it took a few days for all the oil to drain from the drain tube.

glad you avoided serious damage.
