Hey Robbie, it wasn't a slap down, I said it very tongue in cheek

I think most members here (myself included) like to peruse all the different Triumph sites we can find, so info like that is very welcome. I even still recommend the Trophy forum on Yahoo to people after one of the main contributors there bad mouthed TriumphRat and told all the members there that it wasnt worth visiting. His loss, I just hope that people looked for themselves rather than took his word.

are the relays triumph parts or can they be had from any auto store.
can anyone give me the correct type numbers whatever?

triumph will sell them to you

about £14 each here in the UK

i have not seen them in any auto factor or RS/Maplin type shops

The switching relays are available in most good motor parts shops, they are known as a 'euro swtich relay' they are 4 pin types. I got mine in Halfords here in the UK for £4.95 each, but they don't have a litte 'Triumph' motif stamped into the plastic?!
