Congratulations!

You too have discovered the secret too!. The colour is excellent. I was really torn between the Lucifer orange and the silver...I went with silver, but it looks brilliant in both.

Wait until you have got about 2,000 k's on it and it loosens up a bit, it will fly!

I am off to Europe in two weeks to try my silver beast on the Nurburgring to see how it compares with the 885. But is suspect it will be so much better. The pictures will be posted ...if i survive!

Enjoy it!

now that sounds like a trip (not for the faint hearted mind).

lucifer orange is outstanding especially in the sun. The pics dont do it justice.

One other thing. The headlights are hard wired on! Is this standard now for the 03 bikes?

Thats easy to rectify, In the Uk only one headlamp is wired up, the other is for high beam only ??

All you need to do is add or remove the switching relay from the plate just under the left hand side of the instrument facia. If you have got small hands you can do it without taking off the front fairing.

There are 4 relay sockets there, and if memory serves me right it is the top one for the left hand lamp and the bottom one for the right hand lamp.

I dont mean both are wired on but I will alter that.
I mean there is no "off" switch just high/low beam.

sorry Mick
< hides head in shame>

yes the new Tiger seams to have the headlights on all the time,

you need to change the switch cluster to an older one or add a switch to the two loops on the conector.

to get both lights working you need to add two relays as big stripy says but you need relays with diodes in line with the coils or your battey will go flat after 4 days
