I bought an Oxford 1st time tank bag but I'm blowed if I can fit it to my Tiger. Has anyone got one of these on the bike? If not I guess it's going on Ebay. The bag, not the bike :???:

Due to the peculiar tank shape, it's probably best to try a bag before buying it.

Why don't you just return the one you purchased? If it doesn't fit, I can't see why they wouldn't accept it back.

It isn't so much that it doesn't fit. I can't see how the straps which go between the tank and the seat work. It's like they have to loop through somthing under the seat but I can't figure it out. It was only a cheap thing so if it doesn't do a Tiger I'll give it to someone who can use it, or even Ebay it.

Unless I'm being thick, and I probably am I think I need to take the right hand side panel off to do this, is that correct? If so, does that mean that every time I want to use the tank bag I have to take off a side panel to fit it? Hopefully, I'm just being thick. :???:

You know, I really wish I could help you.

But I don't even have a tankbag. I hope you figure it out, though.

It's OK. I won't have a tank bag soon either. It's on Ebay I'll go back to a bike with a magnetic tank soon. Tank bags then are easy and no hassle to put on and off
I miss my Varadero :knkknk:
