Had my renewal come through today for Tiger. With Carol NASH. i rang the so called Triumph RAT discounted Ins to find it over £100 more than my renewal. So much for 'discounted' Insurance rates for Triumph RAT members !
I do not intend on ringing round the whole country any pointers to save a few shillings ??
Thanks.

:???: I am completely fuddled by all this insurance scam!

I WAS with Carole Nash, so i phoned Triumph Rider Insurance and saved £70 against Nash's best quote.

Almost the complete opposite of your experience ??

What's going on......??? I am a little over 40, with a clean licence so how comes there is that much difference between two companies specialising in motorcycle insurance.

The worlds gone mad!

Jim

All noted. I will try them again. I am also a 'youthful' 40 something with max NCB, garaged, alarmed etc etc. The guy when told that his rate was a £100 dearer than carole Nash said they could'nt match it !! Tis all very strange :???: I expected it to be £50 cheaper or whatever.

Trotts hi Mate, I called Rat Insurance to and like you they well over £120 quid more, I am with Cofields (Express Insurance), I am 37 years old 7 NCD, 3 points FC =£305, includes European Break down, protected NCD, Legal cover etc

The No is 0121 386 7720, tell them that they were recommended.

Hope this helps

Picking up my Tiger next week (2nd hand), changing from a Firestorm. Triumph quoted me about £285 fc (same as the Firestorm), Carol Nash (Chaucer Insurance) quoted £215 including Breakdown cover and legal.

I just renewed also , tried Triumph , about £80 quid more

best quote was £258 from Bennets . But no legal or rescue. I stayed with Nash at £300 .

I'm mid 40's alarmed , garaged etc . 2 yrs ncb.

What excess are people paying with Nash ? Bennets only wanted £175 which was temting .
